Best Pickleball Courts in Petaling Jaya and Subang Jaya (2026)

PickleKL Team·19 March 2026

PJ and Subang have quietly become the pickleball heartland of the Klang Valley. While KL city gets the headlines, the western suburbs now pack some of the best courts in the region. More variety, easier parking, and a growing community that skews younger and more competitive.

Here's a court-by-court breakdown of what's available.

Pickle Park (Seksyen 13), PJ's Lifestyle Favourite

If you've spent any time in the KL pickleball scene, you've probably heard of Pickle Park. The Seksyen 13 location sits along Jalan Professor Khoo Kay Kim and is run by the Kenny Hills Hospitality Group. That pedigree shows.

Seven sheltered courts. An al fresco bar for post-game drinks. App-based booking that actually works. It's the kind of place where you play a few sets, then hang around for a cold one.

Pricing: RM55/hr off-peak, RM70/hr peak

Hours: Daily 7am to 1am

Book: picklepark.web.app

Pickle Park (Lumi Tropicana)

The second Pickle Park location, tucked inside Lumi Tropicana. Same vibe, same pricing, same app booking system. If you're based around Tropicana, Kota Damansara, or Mutiara Damansara, this one saves you the drive into Seksyen 13.

Pricing: RM55/hr off-peak, RM70/hr peak

Hours: Daily 7am to 12am

Picks and Rec (Seksyen 51A)

This one's a favourite among the more serious players. Six indoor courts inside Menara Harvey Norman, fully air-conditioned. That alone sets it apart. Playing in Malaysian heat is one thing. Playing in aircon is a completely different experience.

They also have two free dinking courts for practice and a Titan One ball machine for drills. If you're trying to actually improve your game, not just rally for fun, this is the place.

Pricing: RM39/hr off-peak, RM65/hr peak

Hours: Daily 8am to 12am

Hyprground @ Petaling Jaya (Seksyen 19)

Hyprground runs a stylish indoor setup in Seksyen 19 with two court tiers. Community Courts start at RM35/hr. Private Lounges come with a chill area included, so your non-playing friends can hang out while you play.

Balls are free. Paddle rental is RM5. It's a solid budget-friendly option if you're getting started or just want a casual hit.

Pricing: RM35/hr off-peak (community), RM65/hr weekend

Hours: Daily 7am to 1am

The Kitch'n Club (Taman Sains Selangor)

This is PJ's premium play. US Open quality courts, a gym, yoga studio, physiotherapy services, and a recovery suite with ice bath and infrared sauna. There's even a restaurant on-site called Ye Nutz.

It's more wellness club than pickleball venue. If you want to train hard, recover properly, and eat well all in one place, The Kitch'n Club delivers.

Pickle Space (Subang Jaya)

The most unique venue on this list. Pickle Space is a boutique 2-court setup in Taman Industri Sg. Penaga, Subang Jaya. The Moroccan-themed decor makes it feel more like a cafe than a sports facility. And there is a cafe on-site too, courtesy of F&B chain Oh My Belly.

Two courts means availability can be tight, so book ahead. But the intimate setting is perfect for couples, small groups, or anyone who wants a more curated experience.

Pricing: RM50/hr off-peak, RM70/hr peak

Hours: Daily 8am to 12am

Honourable Mentions Near PJ/Subang

A few venues sit just outside PJ and Subang proper but are close enough to mention.

Pickle Nation in Glenmarie has 12 indoor courts, a cold plunge pool on weekends, and regular tournaments. It's technically Shah Alam, but Glenmarie is a 10-minute drive from most of Subang.

Picklefy in Subang Baru (also Shah Alam side) offers VIP and standard courts plus an in-house cafe called Dink Donk Coffee. A ball machine is available for solo practice.

Tips for Playing in PJ/Subang

  • Weekday mornings are golden. Most PJ courts are dead between 8am and 12pm on weekdays. Best rates, no waiting.
  • Bring your own paddle. Rental paddles are fine for your first session, but the quality varies wildly across venues.
  • Non-marking shoes only. Every indoor venue on this list requires them. Don't show up in running shoes.
  • Book at least a day ahead for peak slots. Evenings and weekends fill up fast, especially at Pickle Park and Picks and Rec.

The Verdict

PJ has the strongest concentration of quality pickleball courts in the Klang Valley right now. Whether you want air-conditioned competition courts, a lifestyle club with a bar, or a wellness-focused training facility, it's all here. Subang is catching up with boutique options like Pickle Space. And Glenmarie's Pickle Nation is close enough to count.
